Isolation

I have pushed myself too hard I have gone indeed too far Beyond the average within which I am. Who then shall cheer when the bird sings That lets stray its wings too far afield That no soul near hears the melody Or discerns the symphony That otherwise would send amazing floods Though these barren deserts of flesh and blood?
