Isley of the Far North
Blinded by obscure darkness
I struggled to see the light of salvation
Bundled together with contempt
My life hailed inequity its king
Leaving my soul to reap vanity
The gift of white hair black heart
Came to me like a divine inspiration
Touched by the light of almighty God
Darkness paved way for my freedom
Isley stood smiling at the end of the tunnel.
With each step I went further into life
Growing in strength and experience
I stretched out my hands to claim isley
Looking back at the man I once was
I finally claimed isley of the far north
