Island of Love
Oh! My Cyprus, You isle of tempestuous love,
Love, kindled by a sunsets fiery flame,
This love inspired isle, brings folk from afar,
To rest in your arms on a sun drenched shore.
You fill the air with your floral fragrances,
Bougainvillea and Jasmine to stir the senses.
Folk came in search of love and grace,
'twas all found in your lovers embrace.
Oh! Aphrodite, arms outstretched,
Rise from the foam to seek your quest.
Petra tou Romiou to Adonis' Falls you ran,
Your Adonis awaits and your love began.
My time, this time is so finite,
For days from now I must take flight.
Keep calling me love, for one day soon,
I will be caressed by your sun and moon.
