Is There No Salvation?

Winds will blow, angry seas will churn Earth cries for our obligation All life hacked, cut down, tortured, burned For her is there no salvation? Oil, cement, plastic- not meant Winds will blow, angry seas will churn Until her death shall we torment her giving body, no concern Too far gone now, she can't return Life slowly fades away , we pray Winds will blow angry seas will churn Ashen skies cry, the end today... She had us fooled, in many years Utterly gone, us, no return Earth begins to cry joyous tears! Winds will blow, happy seas will churn. Won 6th place in the "One Good Quatern Deserves Another" contest by Joe Flach. A. Green
