Is Love Enough

Thirty days and nights spent alone Waiting for him to come home He always seems to be gone She only hears him on the phone The few days hes home She hopes for some time alone With the trucker she calls her own No time today shes told with a moan She never makes the top of his list With a kiss on her lips He promises her next time But for now he has to go As she waves goodbye to him A single tear drops from her chin That's the way its always been Why bother with waiting again

Congrats on the feature. If you get a chance, listen to "Ravishing Ruby" by Tom T. Hall. A great look at a truckers daughter's story. Vince
