Irreplaceable

Your voice, your smile Your music, your moves Your hopes, your dreams Your life, your style. Everything about you capture me. You give inspiration to generations beyond. You became legendary, Though throughout your life it was hard. You worked with everything you had in you. You were the star of your generation. Many people tried to bring you down. They criticized you, spread rumors. Almost broke you, But you still rise above them all. People today still love you, And they all wish they can see you. We know today, just as back then, That you were irreplaceable. I didn't know you, but I love you. I didn't see you, but you're still a part of me. I can't be with you, but you stole my heart. Know that everything I know is what I've read, watched, and listened. Never will have a chance to see. Never will have a chance to live through, But you'll still have me. (written for all the legends of the by gone years, especially the 40s, 50s and 60s)

And others too. Sometimes when I see or hear the names, I ask myself, how is it they are all gone? How old does that make us?
