Ironside is the guy in the wheelchair!!! WEll, there was a tv program about him anyway. That's what I was talking about down there!! last soupmail of the day!!

Wow! So very, very clever, JS. Sometimes a google search will turn up unexpected things. You had me rocking and rolling with this poem and my favorite reference was to the one about "Phenol Barbie Doll." Excellent write for my faves. Hmmm, I am curious who the manic queen of depression is!! This was very entertaining, my friend. Thankfully I do not have any Romeo Ironsides in my life. there is a guy I have not seen lately around here. He goes by numerous names and uses really gushing language and even has a few female personas as well as his male personas. One time I caught his female self chatting with his male self under a poem of his. He fools a some women here at least in the beginning!! WE all must beware these types.

This poem makes me think about people who they say they re somebody they are not.If I lose everything in life ,Identity is a thing I would never lose.Its sad when we cant be ourselves anywhere in the world..yet I try not to judge anyone who dnt feel comfortable in revealing his through identity online even if I dnt approve. Nobody is the same ..my honest opinion .Charma

I know that poem by Drake..He is good !! Don`t know if you know but He does a radioshow where you can read your poetry and get a step closer to soupers.Soupmail him if you re ever interested..Its an amazing experience..and of course who am I to tell anyone how to think :-).I just try to wear their shoes and think with their mind..oops

Yes we DO Charmaine! I may not be a Wooooo type of man, But I do look out for lovely Women! including Mother Earth! I just read a great poem by a guy named Drake on here, called "Don't tell me how to Write". I love how you never tell me HOW to write or think, but simply let the words glide into your Astral Plane!~

Poetry is free for everyone to write I guess..So we never know who We are going to meet through reading..but guess I was taught to try and love and not judge people who did crime personally but yet not justify their crime..So guess i still try to give a chance to everyone,yet being smat enough not to be wooed or fooled if his /her intention are unkind.This is what I was taught yet in no way you need to agree.

You did! LOUD AND CLEAR!ALSO, this was written for women who may "Live and Let Live" a little too much, and who could be easily blindsided by a man's false words of Woo. A woman can easily be lead straight into the arms of a criminal, or bank robber, or pedophile, This is real life stuff here, written for insight, not for spite!

I would still love and care for friends who are not whom they say they are..Who knows?Maybe onetime they get to trust me enough to be open with me..If they don t..that would make me try harder to be a better friend.Maybe I am mislead..But hope I got the message in your poem right..

I do not recommend my newest poems for your reading, if they bother you. Not everything is a slam. When I read people's stuff, it is sometimes better just to read and see it as a story, I could be talking about myself for all anyone knows. Or if you are really curious, how bout doing the research read about in the poem? I probably wouldn't, for loyalty sake, But who knows? Open Sores, the poem I suggested, Definitely is not a slam on anyone you know. It is 100% about me and some hard times.

and I didn't say I wish for you "Not to read my poetry"....I said, "IF" the poems "upset you, I don't recommend reading them". I love feedback on these few poems I post. And I said before, the reason I said "I like MOST of your poems" is because I simply have not read "ALL" of your poems. I do love what I have heard.!~

nope. I do not understand the concept of being offended! I have written of this on several occasions. You are welcome to read and comment so long as my words don't offend YOU. You are the only poet who told how to feel and act..."Live and Let live" and I write and do exactly what and how I feel. Real.

Your reaction to my two line post seems rather extreme, JS. I see others have wondered about certain lines in the poem. It is only natural, in a community of poets, for one to wonder if this is calling someone out...You said you enjoy "most" of my poems. That was what the "not up your lane" reference was to. If you rather I didn't read your poems, because of this two line post....I can keep to your wishes. You've obviously taken offense.
