Irish Souls Are Green

Irish souls are green Irish blood is red so many once unfed heartache for our dead Drink Guinness down sorrows we drown St Patrick noble deed For God he planted the seed The Isle shimmers emerald green lush of life lush of dream Spirits fighting to be free Erin glimmers within the sea Celtic pride with hair so red would rather die then be dead Mother Mary our Savior brings Irish souls are green
