Iridescent

At the highest point, The suns iridescent rays swing back and forth in a steady rhythm against a backdrop of yellow, Brown and green hues. I agree quietly without protest with all that surrounds me; And I've been hypnotized by the inimitable view. As the model of perfection declines in power; My steps follow the leaf hidden path as the shrouded canopy beckons me to join the dance of the falling leaves. With the meeting place set and the theme of a waltz; We awaits he accompaniment if the wind. The intermittent music flows in and out of the canopy as It increased in power with each bar it plays. It dispels a great number of supple hues to me. Acting suddenly without thought; I lift my face skyward and accentuate the stretch If my arms and My body shifts continually as it keeps the rhythm of each bend and bow the canopy displays to me. Each bow relinquishes a rain of leaves simultaneously and yet seperately do they turn, spin and swirl to the harmonious time as they seem to forever dance with me. By Christy Teas
