Invited Light
Invited light
Invited light I bequeath you
To light our darkened paths today
Lightly traces of moving hands entranced
Within its loving stands
Impelling grasps its whispers sound
Struggles free its bounded chains
To live the life that’s needed
Fleeting hints that pass us by
Hesitation within its makings
Awake to face the day
Expressions masked behind its fate
Courage found for what’s ahead
Within its joys recited
For those that want to hear
Stamped its true impressions free
To leave its seed when leaving
Within these days of youth and age
Passed our baring torches
Ignited by our struggles shed
Embraces all within it all
To that which can be said
