Invisible Man
He stood upon the chair
A knotted rope
Around his neck
All passion spent
Just waiting
For the fall
I never understood, he thought
What others meant
Or why nobody
Quite
Got me
At all
A better place, he thought
Away from
Violent pain
Loss
Misery
And sin
And no one
Saw him
Going out
Like no one
Saw him
Coming in
