Introspection
I now have the time to
N ervously rewind my mind.
T o the fallout emotionally that
R esulted from my marraige breakdown.
O scilating between euphoria and despair.
S ince I had escaped the clutches of the
P erson who beat my self confidence to a pulp.
E xcept our children could not accept the break.
C rying their little hearts out, angry with me.
T ill my own heart was swollen with distress.
I almost opted out I now admit.
O h how happy I am to have weathered the storm.
N ow that their renewed love keeps my heart warm.
