Intrigued By the Rose
I woke today to a morning brisk chill
Autumn has broken - the leaves soon turn
The picturesque beauty truly mesmerized my soul
I look at the morning sky wondering why
Each new born day - trembles my mind with awe
Clouds dreary they stimulate vibes
I truly breathe this air- breathless
Cold - i view the tress soon die
And the roses bloom no more
Death do us part to say it is pointless
I balance my day recollecting to morn
Of the sunshine on my face - I decide
Beauty be it may be in my eyes the leaves
Coloring hues - inch by inch in my sight
As the day comes to us so close, I view the day
And watch the stars in the galaxy in the twilight
The rose is dead - indeed in the ground
The petals bear love - none to be found
So as winter then approaches - the seed
The roots - I keep in my memory
And the long stem - I see taunting my senses
That old blush is no longer on the fences
May I mourn! I wake each born new day
Knowing the beauty in the soil beneath the snow
And the frost bit , but yet the death
I speculate - life after death - I see
The rose revives and I see it in my eyes
The reality! God proved with the elegant rose
Just for me.
