Into the Blue
The wind carries messages from afar
As the schooner seeks its guiding star
The waves grow angrier through the night
As the crew struggles to keep the ship upright
Morning finds a sea of calm
No traces found of any storm
A bottle floats, inside, a note
Perhaps a warning to other boats
The sea carries messages from afar
Bobbing to the rhythm of a ghostly guitar
The song it plays is far from new
It's from "Davy Jones ", called, "into the blue"
