INTERVIEW
INTERVIEW
Hello, so you’re a grain of sand
I hope that you’re the right one
It’s identification, you understand
Now that the counting has begun
You claim to be one in a million
Perhaps it is a different meaning
And it’s more likely to be trillion
Even to a higher number leaning
But now let this interview begin
So, what in your life stands out
Did you claim an ancient origin
Please tell me what that’s about
Found washed up on the beach
Maybe in the company of others
All so very close enough to reach
It’s as though you’re all brothers
You are an individual, you insist
As a distinctive tiny size of grain
Your unique features I’ve missed
Unless you’d like to now explain
Across the world, different shades
Mostly gold, also black and white
Fine and coarse in various grades
Will you stand out, you just might
This interview’s been hit and miss
As your claim this distinct identity
But my last question to you is this
As sand, are you a discrete entity
