Inside the Bottle

It's a burning sensation Like a constant itch that you try to scratch then you remember how the heart you held exploded in your hand tearing through flesh, bone, and soul as the time passes by every memory seems to fade away ever so slowly just waiting for a chance, a chance to fight to prove to everyone yet more to yourself that you can endure even the darkest night hold on, rewind a few years you see I missed a few key points, that's the story of my life back when every razor blade cut through so deep turning every bottle upside down taking it straight to the teeth drowning out the days, up all night hit up the bar, get in a fist fight hit the pipe, let it all come undone, fading away slowly but surely waiting and praying for nothing but more misery that's your cue for the sweet release grenade in your chest bound to blow at any given second so you take it to the chest until all you can smell is the whiskey on your breath you see alcoholism isn't a small issue five DUI's in the same amount of years manslaughter at the same count it's not a fight to forget the memories it's the fight and the struggle to remember what it's like to be in peace

Jacob, the struggle is real. This is deep, I can't remember the feeling of the bottle... However, it was hard to find the semi-grace I live in now... Awesome.. LINDA
