Inside
Your heart is as cold as ice
Your words cut like knives
You swear you're an honest man
But your words are dry like sand
Manipulation is your game
Deception is your name
You need the world to see this image you portray
But in my eyes the truth is on display
You cannot fool my mind with your words tuned so fine
I see through to the truth
Which is why you cut me loose
So cherish the ones you can deceive
You need their validation to proceed
But at night when your thoughts are alone
You'll realize inside you're as empty as this poem
