Insanity
The deafening silence, listen's my tear's
The shadows on the wall, Act out all my fear's
The comfort of the sheet's Secure in my bed
With the ramblings of insanity
Swimming in my head
The aching in my body, that can'ot find sleep
The storm unleashed from my eye's as I weep
The memories, like a film, on the ceiling I see
The haunting cold cruel eye's
That never set me free
The hidden hand's
Waiting to rip me apart
The chimming of the clock
That summons the voices to start
Not knowing. Unable to comprehend
If this is a dream, if it is real
Just staring in darkness, unable to feel
Is there an end
A release from it all
Or am I to be locked in a prison, a cell
Or what If I die
Would I find peace after all
Should I just shut my eye's
And slowly, slowly fall
