Inquiring Minds Want To Know

Inquiring minds want to know What makes eyes twinkle so Or what lies in the depths below Inquiring minds want to know… Inquiring minds want to know Curiosity given leave to grow Makes little cracks began to show Inquiring minds want to know... Inquiring minds want to know Allurement leading, oh so slow Fantasies in the mind to stow Inquiring minds want to know... Inquiring minds want to know Thus started the first step to woe Thus was seen temptation’s glow Inquiring minds want to know… Eileen Manassian Ghali

I loved your hook in this Eileen. Though I have to admit this is one piece that I actually thought was verging on too repetitive. The words are great and Inquiring Minds Want To Know is an awesome line, just wondering if it's repeated too much. I'm not trying to be critical or mean or anything... I always try to give my honest opinion though! I'll continue to read your work :)

No problem, Timothy. Repetition does have its place...as an educator, I can assure you, it has value! Point well taken, though! Please. Feel free to browse at will. I appreciate your comments.

Hang on Auntie, I'm preparing my list as you speak lol. It's just human nature, I tend to let people know as much as they need to and no more. Great poem and take on the subject here. Take care, Richard

Good morning Eileen :-D. Ooo, I want to know...count me in, what makes eyes twinkle? Temptation a part of oyr everyday life... why do we do the things we do? A bite is what started everything. I like the level of curiosity we grow in. I like the message in your poem....xox...Linda

It's afternoon in this part of the world, my dear! :) Whatever time of day...always great to hear from you! Yea...this expression and what lies inherent in it is that first time to that first bite! ;) Got to know your strength before you take the step, right? You know what they say about curiosity???? Well, just don't ask the cat about it! ;) Hugs

:) Thanks! Read this expression here. Sometimes someone will ask something out of curiosity and then not like the answer. Well..better not inquire, then! I bet this expression was what was running around in Eve's mind...and look where we are today. Thanks for the post!
