Inner Silence
Each day I journey to a secret place within me,
that is tranquil, hidden and quiet-
and in this deep stillness I find my peacefulness.
Oh, this innermost spiritual realm is so hushed,
and there is no fear,
but in the quietude there are many answers
that I seek,
emotional, concealed, painful and buried deep.
