Inner Child Delights
The inner child within my soul
Completes me and she makes me whole
Soaring spirit riding high
Chasing dreams as they float by
Clouds so white, a place to rest
Welcome warm, our little guest
They whisper softly come to me
Rest at last, upon me free
Colors softly signal to Springs rain
While rainbows stretch, and preen, so vain
The inner child within my heart
Delights to see the heavens part
Without my inner child so true
I couldn't fly through skies of blue
Billowy tufts of stagnant rain
Recycled for the season's gain
Our laughter tickling Heaven's sky
Delights my inner child and I
