Inimitable

Not from glitzy stars do I perfection espy, Nor Moon's struttings so wondrous deem; Your unfeigned pulchritude's glittering eye Illumines every dark labyrinth of my heart. Though Sun's poses such lustrous gleams Upon haughty crags her gaudy rays repose, Your Nature-gifted orbs their mimicry dims; Bestowing brighter beams upon my course. And let flaming meteors dead and live alike Their ersatz grins roar across mutest skies; Such intoxicating blazes your beauty wields, Which polite nerves past sanest refrain tries. Should celestial pageants their fairest cast below, Your most natural stunts would eclipse them still; Peerless rules that unpretensious angel-like glow. For, why orbiting dims where reigns genuine light?
