Inferno
By anchors rod destined to be pinned
in mortal time so constrained
to imply the weight of material gained
from a spiritual procession
'Tis but faith in fears opponent
to contend with the breathing death this moment
hatched upon a conscious egg
the mind of life's evolution
A poise beheld awakens
shrugs off the infernos mantle
'tis but the weight of immaterial obtained
for a spiritual lesson
Such a burden may weigh for an eternity
bind the heart to stones un-quickened
and in avaricious contention
lay itself squandered to life's intention
All but to bemoan assumed injustice
and for purgatories indemnity
imposed by self in torture
for whom else shares the loss of paradise
