Inevitable Shock

Symmetrical sunlight slips into the room that was once overflowing with gloom Exposing my flaw…though the rubbish of knowing doesn't seem to change you… Instead, you grow like a bolt of lightning, descending down to the ocean blue I think for a moment…how much time do we have left together? I found you in my dreams, though where will you depart? Saying goodbye never was this hard, but I must do it with all my heart And the pain comes from this rubbish called knowing Knowing that our separation will never affect your violent rays Vanish from my sight, you cruel wicked maze! Heroic soldiers, saints, drive away this disaster possessing my sight Put a bolt on my door, and a bite of spirit on my threshold For major seas connect, and one lightning bolt is bold I need you now…though how can I touch such clean translucency? I wait for you on the shores of accumulated filth Where waters pass on the disease I have spoiled you with I don’t know why you plague my mind with your indifference Running your spotless hands over my infested mind I found you in my dreams, I found you in my dreams unkind Delinquents, villains, they master my vulnerable state But they never know me as you do to the full This is beyond my control…you are one unpredictable soul - A special collaboration with my brother David :} -

Powerful emotive write, Laura. You've always been able to say what's in your heart and mind ins such a telling and fluid fashion. A 7. Hugs! Kim. PS. Sorry for being remiss, but I have more time to read and comment now. :)

Only the poet can get away with this vivid cogitation of two correlating pneumas in thrust. Indeed, the title to this ponderous write fit perfectly dear poet ! Have a wonderful week Laura.....much love, james
