Indian Summer

warm and hazy days of gold the jewel in summer's crown unrivaled in the splendor of her burnished gown brushed with frost and falling leaves her glory much too brief the black and white of wintertime comes as natures thief only her memory remains faint in the frosty air how I long to feel again those days so warm and fair indian summer
