The paintbrush are everywhere this year. We have acres (really!) of them! You have painted them beautifully dear Sara! :)

oh, wow...I bet they're beautiful. The Texas bluebonnets tend to overshadow the Indian Paintbrushes but I do like seeing them together. Thanks for visiting and for your positive words. Have a lovely evening, hugs, Sara

We have Indian paintbrush here, but I have only seen it once. Red flowered weed or wildflower whichever way you view it. Thanks for sharing this one with us. I enjoyed reading it. Sara K

thanks for your visit, Sara K. The Indian Paintbrush is not as prolific as the bluebonnets, even here in Texas. I saw some yesterday, hence the poem. Have a great day, Sara B.

This reminds of jacaranda trees in full bloom. Beautiful poem Sara

Thank you for stopping by. Not familiar with the jacaranda tree. I looked up and found an image, though. You're right! The similarity is striking. Have a pleasant day, Sara

Quite well written, Sara. I've fallen in love with fields of bluebonnets in your area.

The painterly part of you has pushed its way to the front.....thankfully it did....it had something to say and delivered a truly beautiful image. Forgive me dear Sara, I feasted too and probably sneaked a bigger portion...thankyou.

thank you, Paul, for kind words and accolades. Your words mean a great deal to me. You are forgiven for 'feasting' too long. Big portions are alright by me :-) Appreciate your humorous touch. Enjoy your day, Sara
