Indescribable Joy

Wishes cast on the wind stir desires deep within. And embellished by hope, romantic dreams begin. Trust imbues fantasies with the wishes of youth. And I felt so naïve upon learning the truth. God sent me an angel when I met you that day. And your smile is the light that keeps shadows at bay. Reeling with happiness, I traced it to its source. And indescribable joy set my journey's course. Love's key unlocked my heart, setting me free at last. And doubt simply vanished, like a ghost from the past. (Quatrain) 1/27/2015
