Incubus
My incubus, dark visitor,
draining my love by night,
spurning the day;
Yours is the shadow time when
hypnotic kisses
declare love and make promises
that dissolve with
approaching dawn.
My lover, my vampire,
shed night's mantle
and share with me the day.
Face the sun
if you dare.
