'incomplete'

I can continue to drift To and fro Pretend that all I am; All I ever was; Was you But this is not it We all have some hidden purpose That is not even ours to know You just continue – Pretend that all you are; That all you were; Was me We can do this We can stop the questions we always have Take those little guidelines Grow from that Move forward – Not remain on the spot Listen to the beat of your heart That is your compass Your motivator As long as it skips a beat Your purpose is not complete Even if all I am Ends up not being you Even if all you are End up not being me Our hearts are still beating Our purpose still incomplete

Your poems always make me ponder, I love that about your writes, Missy-- this is no exception and hmmm I have to say, I still am not sure of what my purpose is? Whacked me, somehow all-purpose flour pops to mind and I envy it now, at least it knows how it is all-purpose?? As for me, hmm. So nice to hear from you, you "found" me despite my name change-- I've been feeling kinda eh (eh-motional? eh-mpty?) but just in some ways. I'd be honored if you Christened me with an Afrikaans name.....miss you too and I'm sorry if I have been in hiding, you know me.... *mwahugs*
