In Your Hands

She told me her son went off to war today, with many tears in her eyes. She tried to hide her feelings, but I just knew it was tearing her up inside. I didn't know the woman, still I reached out and took her hand. I know how she must have been feeling. I have children of my own, therefore I understand. I tried to comfort her the best way I could LORD. I looked into her eyes and I told her about YOU. I told her that YOU'RE in control. Just pray to THE FATHER. HE will see your son through. So LORD I pray that YOU'LL watch over him, and all of the others fighting in distant lands. Protect them, bring them all home safe. LORD I'm leaving them IN YOUR HANDS!
