In the Year 1860
after a few drinks
one cold night
the Rev. Mr Culpepper
left his club
in the eastern part of
Jasper County Mississippi
on his walk home
he was taken sick
and stopped at the residence
of a dear lady friend
the widow mary banes
there hie took
a dose or two
maybe even three
of medicine
followed by
some liquid
libation
here he suddenly died
in a manner of minutes
his disease
was found to be
bilious colic
