In the Hills of Northern Missouri

Tree-covered hills are a poem lines folded upon themselves hidden meanings like the lake nestled in hills reflecting the sun. Lines folded upon themselves each have two obscure meanings nestled in hills reflecting the sun on a late summer day spent alone. Each has two obscure meanings the lines upon a page on a late summer afternoon spent alone. I have conversations with the blue sky. The lines upon a page tell a story of the land I've found. I have conversations with the blue sky listening to whispers of spirits around me. To tell a story of the land I've found my thoughts turn to those left at home. Listening to whispers of spirits around me I linger in reflections of the sun.
