In the Fragility of Dreams

In the fragility of dreams indeed Amidst reality’s tenacity I seek Christ Who knows my soul’s very need In all aspects by His truth-certainty. Conscious of my frailty and finiteness In the fragility of dreams indeed My heart clings to God for His graciousness Who can turn my hopes toward fruitful deed. Though in frustration-angst, my soul does bleed When I fail during human nature bouts In the fragility of dreams indeed Humbling, I implore the Lord against doubts. With faith* anchored upon Almighty’s brace Propelled to pursue sowing kindness seed My life He props as challenges I face In the fragility of dreams indeed.
*1Peter 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. (This employs “Modified Quatern” since ten syllables were used instead of the eight prescribed by Poetry Soup.) I'm always grateful for your God-centered, Christ-honoring, and Scripture-rich poetry. Thank you Beata, for the edifying work the Holy Spirit does through you to encourage others in the faith. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Continue to pursue sowing kindness seed, my friend. Grace and peace, John
