In the Absence of Moonlight
The night the moon stopped shining.
Your hair still lit up the night sky.
Your eyes held me with radiant light.
I was held captive in your gravity.
Your hair still lit up the night sky.
All I could do was let out a gasp.
I was held captive in your gravity.
The stars gathered in your hand.
All I could do was let out a gasp.
Sun beams bent around the earth.
The stars gathered in your hand.
In that moment you looked at me.
Sunbeams bent around the earth.
Your eyes held me with radiant light.
In that moment you looked at me.
The night the moon stopped shining.
