In Silence

In Silence I Hear Too Much Your silence is tearing me apart; For in it , I hear too much. Those sounds breaks my heart. Humanity losing it's touch. In silence, I hear the cries; I hear her life force drain. As Great Mother Earth dies; And struggles to remain. In silence, I hear her weep; As the stomachs of babies grumble. And as her adult children sleep; Not a peep, not a mumble. Won't someone speak on her behalf? Won't they stand and shout? Won't they raise their coup staff? Before all her hopes give out.
