In Rain Bask

Solid overcast skies_light gray Gentle breeze stirs wet air Moisture penentrates everything Day to play without care Got to go in from the porch soon Get busy with task There are many chores to be done What?_ maybe in rain bask The rain is flooding down heavy Click-clack the simple sound At times there is a roar like train On long, long journey bound Now surrounded in stereo Rain sounds, rain dampened page Rain dampened hair, but not cold_comfy Rain come stay let loose sage

We haven't had much rain to bask in this summer. It's been a little dryer than usual. Good poem Sarah.

I love your poem. I fish a lot and when I'm by myself and it's raining I love it. Nothing better than just me and the rain. You nailed it. Good job
