In My Professional Opinion

I stare at all the stars in the sky Like everlasting snowflakes No two are alike I wonder what god was thinking Maybe they are just his Guidance and comfort Seeping through I look all the trees Wonder how many can there be Think about insects Their number and variety is bigger Then my ability to pronounce This must be gods Overactive imagination Seeping through I watch my fellow humans And all they are capable of Masters of both hate and love The material and physical And how they love to create I have come to the conclusion That this is all an allusion To god having O.C.D. Probably has multiple personalities And the devil Is just his paranoid schizophrenia Seeping through

I agree with Joe.The most profound is beyond comprehension using our limited human brain. With faith however, everything falls into place. I understand it does not work for everybody. Still, your poem has created a question in everyone's mind, left one to ponder, that itself, is enough of a reason for the write. I may not agree with the conclusion, but in difference of opinion, so long as there's respect, life on earth will never be boring. Cheers from the land of thousand isles. :D Kim

Hello Nathan, thank you for your thoughts and visit, Interesting to read this piece, who knows.? I have had my times with God..' sometimes it seeming that there is no answer, sometimes chaos seems prevalent, (then things happen) Its really beyond comprehension, all thoughts thought, I consider ( faith ) the only way to work it through..'

If God made man in His image it stands to reason that He is prone to some kind of psychosis for sure

ok, now I am seeing your poem. I really like reading this one. It's the kind of free verse that you just want to keep reading because it's easy to understand and cool thoughts of the author. I sure hope God is nothing like a paranoid schizophrenic. That was my dad and I don't want a heavenly dad like that!

funny what you said about poets' hell. I don't know if I dare write such a poem. I don't want to offend anyone here that might fit its description. hahaha.

This is a great free verse write. Man only understands God when he submits to God's grace and love. Your poem describes the massive beauty of God's creation and asks why "we" can not know it all. A super 7 on this write and truly fine free verse....

Having an obsessive compulsive disorder condition might be a bit far-fetched, but some facts are not that easy to understand. I am sure that most of the things that go wrong are our own fault. All the best // paul

Gosh mate that's quite a statement. I'll be interested to see what the comments look like as they come. I'll Fav this one, so I can keep an eye. Nice to see your thoughts on my Ants poem, thanks for the visit, I was only over on your site here the other day, and noticing that your former poem was published 10/14, I turned, and with my head down, left.
