In My Heart
In my heart... there is pain.
In my heart... there is sorrow.
In my heart... there is anger.
In my heart... there are broken pieces.
I'm 25% kindness,
I'm 20% Knowledge,
I'm 4% Me,
And I'm 1% courage,
But I am 50% GLUE.
I have NO confidence,
I HIDE behind jokes,
I'm the only joke within myself with no punch line.
I'm not PERFECT,
But inside: I'm BEAUTIFUL- Except no one sees me.
I'm invisible because I'm forgotten.
My soul screams of danger in every deep gash within my heart.
I long to be like you...
Because In my heart... there is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered- uncovered- beautiful.
