I love pink roses over an arbor! Backyard Garden Design, Garden ...

In my garden where love flourished. A pale pink running rose once bloomed. Gracefully it grew upon the trellis. Until the oak tree took the sunshine away. Each petal a delicate, velvety feeling Whispers of romance daily entertained. Its fragrant blooms upon morn's air Love stories lived beyond compare. The housewife gentle and strong Loved the rose, and here she belonged. Their love steadily flows. As the pale pink running rose slowly grows Life was cut short for the rose. Gradually its habitat decompensated. Briars and brambles came up instead. Wrapped around and soon it was dead
Husband gets a great pleasure out of using roundup especially on windy days.

Sara, I adore your garden. Flowers are blossoming. Brushstrokes made from natural petals make beautiful art. Despite the nice tale, your flower remains dead. It's sad. A lovely garden is blooming with dawn-colored flowers. Words and poetry so relaxing.

Lasaad, I have not been able to find another rose just like the one which died. Of course, I don't know if I would be able to come up with a perfect spot to plant it if I found that beautiful specimen once again. Due to maturing oak trees my places to plant another rose have diminished. Your visits add a special touch to my page. Sara K

Anne-Lise, I know your area is somewhat behind us. I guess with the fresh snow it will be a few weeks more before it warms up to spring like temperatures there. We are having a cold snap, but it did not go down low enough to frost last night, and I hope that it won't tonight. My husband has already spent money on garden plants. Your visit was delightful. A soothing picture with a lovely poem, Sara. An ideal covey for a sit-n-talk. Thanks for the insight of your Hubby and his delight with roundup, I can identify with that feeling. :-) Have a pleasant weekend, my friend. Bill

Bill, thank you for the visit. I don't think he will be using roundup in my personal space again, then, he might use it outside of it on a windy day and destroy everything in there. I think the weekend will be nice weather wise anyway. Sara K

Vijay, this was an internet picture. My garden was not that lovely. I would have liked it to be though. My husband got in my garden area with weed killer in the last few days and killed a lot of what I had left in there. He piled a huge amount of leaves over all my garden space and I think it killed most of my plants. Just too much mulch. I have to just let it be though. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

a delightful poem about the beloved, beautiful rose, Sara K. I liked 'their love steadily flows, as the pale pink running rose slowly grows.' I love pink roses. My husband likes using Roundup. "Weeds be gone!" he says. Enjoyed the read. have a blessed evening, Sara B

Sara B, My husband has just about destroyed all my flowers with his spraying. Life is too short and what I have left isn't that much so I need to let it go. Sara K
