In Memory of Your Sister
There's no one more missed than a sister
Who grew up with you, side by side.
It will be so lonely without her
As though part of your own self has died.
There are loved ones who've gone on before her
Who are happy to hold her again,
Who whisper, "You're so welcome here,
Where there is no sorrow nor pain".
All dear ones who loved her will miss her,
Unable to hold back their tears,
Are thankful to God for the favor
Of having her all of these years.
They know she was sent as a blessing,
Bestowed on them all with God's love.
And now that he life's work is finished,
She has gone to her true home above.
