In Her Eyes
The arc of her eyes
makes the rounds
of my heart
a circuit of dew
and gentleness
In halo of time
cradle the nocturnal
I do not know
if I had ever lived
because her eyes
have not always
seen me
Leaves of daylight
and moss of dew
reeds of the wind
perfumed smiles
her clever sorcery
I am spellbound
My daylight
depends on
her innocence
my whole world
in her eyes
I am a hunter
of sound
seeking fountains
of color
the sky and sea
in her eyes...
