In Another Time

Deep down I know that you would still be here wearing that ring I gave you by the beach me, basking in that warmth having you near all that I ever wanted in arm's reach. Head tilted to one side your eyes would ask what lingered on my mind as my gaze swept your face, giving no clues beneath my mask of all the feelings for you that I kept. Priorities back then came to the fore between both them and us you made me choose with hindsight now, if you had known the score you never would have asked, knowing you'd lose. I like bit about question being asked in particular. Ultimatums mostly backfire. My wife and I had a few of those moments. We got past them but hard. needed to step back a bit for some perspective. Accusing your partner of doing nothing is not a good idea especially because almost always never true. Learned that hard way. I like seeing how other people approach contests. So m,any different angles to approach from. Good Luck from David

We met in January 1985 and got engaged in July 1985 in Jersey, during the Live Aid concert weekend. Head over heels in love is such a cliche, but she knocked me for six. Sadly, family came first, which is why I care for my younger brother after my parent's demise, and it was a price she coudn't pay. Such is life.
