In An Honorable Grave
In An Honorable Grave
Did look through all the desolate debris
I discovered the memory of a tree
On a picture in past that was taken
In a land that to me was God forsaken.
No one now lived near there anymore
And nothing was worth waiting for
Except what appeared to be a big hole
After activities of war took their toll.
A few men could see under tree one day
And with tree ended up being blown away
This certainly became a terrible tragedy
In service of Queen who was her majesty.
After their deaths these men were knighted
And in churches candles had been lighted
In respect for those who in past were brave
Now lying gently in an honorable grave.
