In a Dark Room For Halloween
It was the night of Halloween
I danced, all alone in my room
Dressed up as the great Queen
I found not any peace
Why my mind was wild and loose
It sought out to find my heart's lost peace
I stopped short, when it did happen
My wardrobe door did open
And out came a ghoul
His breath was foul
When he did speak thus
Pray, be not scared
I am here to instruct you
The life you do live is not true
So do learn to enjoy and love it
Love it in its every bit
Love each step that you do beat
For it shall not be given twice
Be still not scared
For you I shall throw this dice
The result shall be the outcome of your life
In a dark dark room, for Halloween
While I danced, all dressed up as the queen
My life was built up, by a most foul ghoul
The outcome was not horrible
I did learn to be sensible
Life, filled with thorns, can also be lovely!
The ghoul did go back into the wardrobe
I never saw him again
But I did learn to love this life of pain!
Lived only once it is
It shall someday be over
Someday, I shall be in a world, yonder!
