Impromptu
The
poet
stands
watching
the world
an ear
sharp
cocked
perceptive
yet
aloof
he
listens in
absorbing
as
a sponge
others
feelings
drip
by
drip
deep into
his
soul
later
to spring
forth
as
music
played
ex tempore
