Imperfection

If I showed you the real me …would you accept me ? If I showed you my insecurities… would you want me? So many people say they want to see the real you but when you show them who you are, they walk away from you ...they really want the fake version of you. Its strange how we look to others to be a perfect image and we all have limitations...its unreal to expect perfection in anyone...you are not perfect...so why ask that of me We all live behind a mask ...We only show people what we want them to see. How about really looking at me ...seeing me ...showing you the me without all the walls I have built around myself to look perfect for the society in which we live ...removing the cover girl image of me ...then you would see the real me . Love is about accepting the bad with the good, no one is perfect...if you look beyond outer beauty... you would discover real honesty. Seeing someone for who they are, imperfection and all is love with perfection
