Immortality

Lord, it is so difficult, Accepting our own mortality. It is easy to deny it for awhile But one day we come face-to-face with Death, And get a glimpse of Immortality. Even children learn about it. We don’t live forever on this earth. But thanks to you, O Lord, there’s a better place, And we can live forever through Thy New Birth. 8/4/16

Moving reminder. I have a friend who has 2 weeks to live. I believe I'll see her again in Heaven. Thank you for sharing. Blessings and best wishes for a wonderful New Year. :-)

Thank you Betty for an uplifting ending to a subject I've thought about a lot lately because my Mom will turn 80 in few days. This needs discussion for we are human and have fears, no matter how false, that perhaps we could eliminate through talks with one another - seems people don't want to 'go there.' Again, thank you for poetically sharing your view which, again, ends leaving one encouraged ... CayCay

Thank you CayCay, I'm glad it leaves you encouraged. We will all be faced with it one day.
