Funny i have be re-introduced to Lennon and have been watching his interviews and listening to all his music. He was incredible and it is surprising to me how little impact he had on the world. I mean he explained all of the problems 30 years ago and no one listened. That was the time we could have changed course. Now our path is nearly set and it doesnt look to peaceful.

Nice tribute to a music legend and a song that will endure through time. You have me smiling. I was a teenager back then. How the time does fly. Thank you for sharing this poem with us and for your kind comments. Blessings to you. Karen

Lennon took a lot of heat for saying, "Imagine there's no heaven, no religion too, no hell below us, above us only sky." I think he was just trying to unify all people regardless of their religious beliefs. He was a misunderstood artist, but his relationship with Yoko did lead to the breakup of the Beatles. What a wonderful poem you have given us, James!! Love to the Highlander, Carolyn
