Thomas Jefferson's awesome writing in the Declaration of Independence deserves your excellent tribute. And, Izzy, Jefferson had to rewrite and rewrite the Declaration before the "56" would sign it. He tried to eliminate slavery in the Declaration, but then he lost the support of Southern delegates. John Adams wanted to write it, but nobody liked him. Adams and Ben Franklin hand-picked Jefferson because he was a talented writer, but respected and well-liked. This poem going to my Favorites!

Nice Finish! I didn't get it until I remembered how our founding fathers signed the Declaration; all bold and curvy; and awesome
