Imaginary Friend

Show yourself, show your face Monster of shadows My darkness days I'm recalling the lows Of a time I lost my ways And you where there When I was in a lightless place Just like then you've invaded my space You were me, I was you You knew, you knew The ugly in me I feared It's been awhile you visited me But my imaginary friend is here again, it appeared From the corner of my eye I'm seeing you and I'm wondering why Why you are standing there saying; "you are mine." I was you, you were me I'm coming to you again, I'm already crossing the line You're waiting for me my imaginary friend Can anyone really completely get rid of their bad bad habits? Because here I am speaking to my old self Me, myself and I My imaginary friend, I ask; "Is this the last time?"
